Vappu – Joy, Community, and Hope for the Future

Spring has once again arrived in full force – the days are brighter, the grass is turning green, and Finland’s most cherished student celebration has brought energy and life to campuses across the country! Vappu brings us together to celebrate student life, community, and traditions that make everyday moments meaningful.

This spring has been filled with both new opportunities and challenges. Changes in society and the already difficult position of students weigh heavily on many minds. The “Vappu greetings” from the recent government budget framework weren’t exactly uplifting – but we refuse to let that dampen our spirits.

Students – and especially us business professionals in the making – are the future. Studying is an investment: a commitment to developing our skills and, in doing so, contributing to the greater good. It’s vital to remember that we are a significant part of society – so let’s keep our heads high and celebrate this Vappu with pride!
